Google Forms uses "Your answer" as a placeholder text in the answer fields of the Text type of questions. Google Forms does not provide a way to change the placeholder text. But you can change the placeholder text by using the Pretty Forms Designer Addon.
This article will guide you on How to change the "Your answer" placeholder text of Google form using Pretty Forms Designer.
Prerequisite: Install & Setup Pretty Forms Designer Addon on your Google form, if not already done. Then open the Pretty Form Designer.
Please follow the below steps to change the placeholder text in Google forms.
Step 1: Click on the “Your answer” text to select the text answer field. Then click on the “Text Answer Field Placeholder” icon button from the header toolbar of Pretty Form Designer.
Step 2: In the opened “Text Answer Field Placeholder” popup, enter the new placeholder text & then click on the “Update Text” button.
Step 3: You will see the placeholder text is changed to the updated placeholder text. If you want to set the same placeholder text for all Text type questions, you can do this by updating the placeholder text under the tab “For All Text Answer Type Items” of the popup.
Finally, Save your form and click the “Preview” button to check your form.
